I have a long list of the books that I am currently reading lately

I have just finnished reading ¨The Power of Now¨Echart Tolle
Dr Paavo Airola ¨Juice Fasting

I am in the process of reading these books, all the books that are on my bedside table

Edgar Cayce´s ¨Story öf Jesus¨ Channeled by the American Sleeping Prophet

Diana Cooper ¨Angel Inspiration How to change your world with the Angels¨¨

Dr Wayne W Dyer ¨¨Your Sacred Self Making the Decision to be Free¨

Caroline Myss ¨Entering The Castle, an Inner Path to God and Your Soul¨

Homer ¨The Iliad¨

´Sankara ´Saranam ¨God Without Religion¨Questioning Centuries of Acceptecd Truth¨

Isabel Allende ¨El Plan Infinito¨

Gustave Flaubert ¨Trois Conte¨Un Coeur Simple, La Légende De Saint Julien L´Hospitalier, Hérodias.¨

It is a lot of books that is why it is taking me ages to finnish them because according to my feelings and mood I pick which ever book I desire.

Some of the books are like messages to me and I pick them up and open the book and whichever pages are open I read it and I take as a message from the angels.

Friday night's meeting was awesome - I bought most of the Anastasia books to bring home.

And, the most exciting thing was that I met Ivan/NoFrontiers and his beautiful partner for the first time.  Smiley

Autobiography of a yogi
The power of now
Sunfood diet success system
Harry Potter - the last one.

I adore having a good mix of books going. I used to be very anal about finishing one book before starting another. I felt that I was being discorteous somehow to the authors by reading more than one book at a time. But then I found out they often write more than one book at a time so bugger it!

At the moment I'm reading the power of now because so many signs pointed me to it. It's heavy going for me and I get the feeling that I'm not taking much of it in. (It can take over 1/2 an hour to read a page)

Autobiography Of A Yogi is a phenomenal book. It is, for me, simply the best book I've ever read. I adore the author's humour and Indian phrasing. He was an amazing, gorgeous man and I'm so grateful to him for taking the time out to write it. I tell you, I've read that book about 10 times now, I kid you not, and this time around I am STILL finding things that I had no idea where there... wasn't ready for the message I think!

Sunfood I'm getting through. I'm enjoying the read and taking it all in. But at the moment I'm just not into learning more about food. I feel so out of balance that when I think about what I would like to eat or what to make anyone for dinner I just feel blah... don't TALK to me about food! LOL. So while it's an interesting book it's not my main focus right now.

Harry Potter... light reading. When I need a break from thinking, this is what I'm going for. Light but intelligent.

Sparkling Energy, I've got Cloud St by Tim Winton. It's kinda dark but I like it. An intriguing author.

So that's where I'm at.

Only Forwards - by Michael Marshall Smith.
It's a quirky novel with some interesting ideas about dreams.  Seemed pertinent to me lately since I've been having really very detailed dreams of late.

Have been wanting to re-read Shataram, and to read Autobiography of a Yogi for the first time.  So I'll read both of those in November.  With a journal next to me this time for jotting down thoughts - I love to do that with provocative books.

Does reading a blog count as reading? hmmm.  I just stumbled upon the online journal of a favorite musician: Jason Mraz.  And, lo and behold, the man has 'gone raw' the week after I saw him play at a music festival last Easter.  So I'm avidly reading his blog because he's got a way with words and insights that I love.  And lets face it, some cute photos too.

He also mentioned working in a new age bookshop in the past, and has his own recommended reading list.  I've read half of them already but it's still a nice list to explore:

The Way of the Peaceful Warrior - Dan Millman
The Celestine Prophecy - James Redfield
The Alchemist - Paolo Coelho
Siddhartha - Herman Hesse
Zen & the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance - Robert Persig
A New Earth - Eckhart Tolle
The Four Agreements - Jose Luis Ruiz
The Tao of Pooh - Benjamin Hoff
The 4-Hour Workweek - Timothy Ferriss
Conversations with God - Neale Donald walsh
The Secret - Rhonda Byrne
The Art of Happiness - His Holiness the Dalai Lama

I have just started "A New Earth" - Eckhart Tolle.

Finishing off "Autobiography of a yogi" (again). I feel the same about that book Jen.
Amazing book, read it a couple of times but still find interesting bits.

Always reading 811 by dr D. more as a reference and for recipes etc

Lots of Dr Seuss, at the moment we (me and the boys) are reading Horton... does that count. Great books though?!
