Hey, I have a dear dear friend whom has been diagnosed with bowel, liver, kidney and lung cancer...
She is one of those people whom helps EVERYONE, one of the most kindest, gentle, honest, hard working women I know, NEVER touched a drop of alcohol, smoked, drugs, tea of coffee, ever...she is average size and has birthed 7 children...a real example to many...makes me wonder what triggered so much cancer?

Anyhow, she has had 1 ft of her bowel removed and has just started chemo. I want to know what are the BEST raw foods for her to eat...and what juices can I make her?

I am wanting to bring her a bottle of Green smoothie...what are your other suggestions?

Thankyou

BB

Hey BB, as soon as I read your post I looked across at my bookshelf, thinking of the juicing book I gave away, and one title jumped out at me "The Cancer Cure" by Rudolf Breuss.

I'm posting it to you today by express mail (along with something else), read it and see what you think.  If she does it she needs to be dedicated, and it takes about 6 weeks.

makes me wonder what triggered so much cancer?

You say she helps everyone, does she ever do anything for herself?   And does she really, I mean really, want to get better?

Perhaps an emotional thing? Feel free to lend her my books if she would be interested - I'll leave it to you.

As to foods. Greens and berries are first to come to mind. There is heaps of info on the net. Minimise stress on the digestive system by drinking loads of water and eating mono meals. The body can then can busy fixing things. Perfect health is our natural state and is what the body will work towards when we stop putting such a heavy load on it.

More often than not it is emotional/mental and they can be the hardest things for people to change. As Sanghama says, does she really want to get better. Goodluck to your friend BB.

ohh im not 'qualified'....but dare i say bed rest and fasting-after her chemo...cos she is possibly going to need some kind of buffer in her body,to counteract the chems flooding in~whilst shes having chemo...

carrot juice is good for fighting cancer.....i have heard...green juice is phenomenal for taking the acidity out of the body....

all raw foods...fruits...water....greens....low fat...maybe a little soft avo....a little soaked seaweed...blended foods...i wouldnt say nuts and seeds or dehydrated foods..and def a vegan way of eating.!

wishing her the best...and YEs she must want to get better too....the most powerful healer is the mind...foods dont actually have the power to heal..only the body does....optimal raw foods give the body the BEST environment to heal itself....

massage is huge...we great if she could have a gentle daily massage..and epsom salts baths....dry skin brushing...soooo gently and trampolining!

yes,, I aggre, cancer is hte result of supresed negative emotions.

To hbe helping others is very nice, but the person also needs to know, how to cleanse herself from the negative crap of those helped.

The good meaning helpers often take inside the negative probs from others, and somehow women are more incline to do so.

There is difference betwen helping and helping.

It is important skill, how to be helping but to get sucked in, how to stay outside and not to give into any neg energy.

So while she might have helped many others, all that is now manifesting in her body.

It needs to be cleaned out, and yes teh question is does she want to ?

The above is all great advice.

Maybe if I could add something else:  cleansing all the elimination channels.  (liver/kidney; bladder/gallbladder; skin etc)

It's been studied and concluded that if people go through chemo, they have a better chance of survival if they.......poop!!!

With chemo, you are loading your body with chemicals, and if you can't eliminate that from the body, then it remains in the body and gets reabsorbed to do more harm.

Definitely don't eat anything that's too heavy.  She'll want to divert her energy into healing, not digesting.

As RGG said, massage is important.  When someone gets sick, that's due to a blockage....whether that is an emotional blockage, a nutritional blockage, a digestive blockage or whatever.  A good way to release that blockage and to get blood flow going is to (1) massage or (2) exercise.  (I know exercise might be really difficult for her, but even moving herself around in the bed would be better than nothing).

Lots of juices.  Carrot and parsley is great.  The cruciferous veggies are reportedly beneficial to fight cancer (brocolli, cabbage and veggies in that family).  Lots of water.

Look into hydrotherapy.  It has some amazing stories where it's helped people.

LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS of positive thinking.  It's been reported that negative thinking brings down your white blood cells, and when we're sick, we need lots of them!!!!  thumbup

Herbs such as rosemary are good for illnesses.  I have a list of herbs which may help, but if you want anything more, you can pm me and I'll be more than happy to help.

Lastly, as others have said, she is the only one who can make the decision to get better.  The hardest thing in getting better is commitment (I know I find it hard to stay committed at times).

Take care and many blessings to your friend

Luv

I just saw this. The cancer is quite widespread.  Chemo kills more people than it helps. The miracle cancer cures are usually the people that rejected chemo and go all out on the nutritional attack. If someone is prepared to reject the allopathic medical community, it usually means they want to live.

For those that don't reject chemo, it's a very different story. I'm sorry to say that in reality she is unlikely to survive the chemo, for every 10 cancer cells killed by the chemo, one or 2 healthy cells are also killed, the chemo drugs are not very specific.  They can use different chemo drugs to target different types of cancer, but it is so widespread, they're probably just going in with the kill as much as they can drugs, and that type doesn't have a good survival rate.  All the nutritional stuff needs to be done before chemo and she has already started, nutrition will still support her, but it may not be enough. She will most likely want to throw up a lot, keeping anything down will be a problem, and the drugs they give for the nausea are fairly nasty too.  The sea bands for sea sickness may help with the nausea.

With that much cancer, I'd say the most important thing is quality of life, making her comfortable, and supporting her.  If she wants to fight, support her; if she wants to give up, support her; if she wants to be in denial, support her; if she wants to look into alternatives, support her; if she just wants to follow exactly what the doctor ordered, support her.  What you need to support her with may change as time goes on.  Many chemo drugs affect the mind, one of the best descriptions of the effects I've heard is 'they're brittle emotionally', she may not be the same person you know because of the drugs (chemo and pain relief), remember she IS the same person.

Depending on someone's training some people will/will not provide massage - basically if she is terminal, massage is OK, if she's not terminal, you're going to find a lot of professional therapists that won't want to work on her because they were told not to in their training. http://www.cancercouncil.com.au/editorial.asp?pageid=2407 explains what is and isn't ok (most of it is OK these days, but even just 10 years ago it was 'don't touch!!' .  Overstimulating the lymph flow is the most common concern (generally unfounded). http://www.cancersa.org.au/aspx/complementary_therapies.aspx can give you some more ideas and more links.  I can't recall off the top of my head, but high Vit C can affect something - can't remember if it was chemo or radiation, so that might be something to check. http://www.cancer.org.au//File/PolicyPublications/PScomplementaryalternativetherapiesJUN05.pdf is the SA stand on other options.

All the best to you and her, and everyone else around her.  It's not easy, be realistic, not pessimistic.  It's her process.

curezone.com has a cancer section and free information on the Breuss and other cancer related health issues and remedies.
raw food diet itself has cured many a cancer. For her i would suggest beetroot, broccoli, carrot, leeks, asparagus, eggplant even juiced. Concentrate mostly on veggies and sulfur based veggies.
Also another good one is the essiac tea or you can buy flor essence online. Graviola powder in her smoothies (this got rid of my mothers fibroids and is a good cancer fighter).
