I have had a bit if a pampering day today, and while i don't like to mess with my skin to much as i don't want to tamper with its natural ph balance etc, i just felt like it could use a little something extra as its a bit blotchy and blah.

Anyhow I have had a full bottle of msm sitting on my shelf for a while now as i just cant handle the taste of it, however i had read a lot about its healing qualities for the skin, so i mixed a spoon full of msm, a large dollop of olive oil and a spoonful of coconut oil, then i scraped out the gel from one small leaf of aloe vera.
I stirred it in to a paste and smoothed over my face and neck. The msm gives it a rough salt like texture, but that didn't bother me, its not the most attractive look though i must admit lol

Anyhow i left it on for a hour or so while i pottered about the house and I've just washed it of with warm water, then wiped the excess oil away with a towel.

My skin looks bright and clear and very happy and feels lovely...

I think i might do this once or twice a week from now on.

Anyhooo, thought i might share it with you all, in case there's anyone out there that feels like doing a bit of a pampering session

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, “Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?” Actually, who are you not to be?

"I knew I could never hold that girl.
She was born to see the world.
All I've got is a picture she mailed to me,
Barefoot in the snow white sand,
a bag of sea shells in her hand.
She finally found a paradise it seems."
