Do you have just one raw book you often go back to?  Or is there a book, or books that were significant on your raw journey?

The first raw book I read was 'The Raw Secrets' by Frederic Patenaude.  It was a great book to start with, full of practical advice.  These days I really like Dr. Doug Graham's '80/10/10' but am not there with my own diet, yet.

Another book I read early on in my raw journey was 'Blatant Raw Foodist Propaganda' by Joe Alexander.  It talks about how raw food can affect other areas of your life, besides the physical:  "The greatest value of the raw food diet is its transformative value.  To a great extent, when you take up the raw food diet, you become a new and different and better person.  You don't just stay the same old person, only a little healthier.......You become more of your essence, your true and natural self.  You become a person who is more a part of the one great life of Nature and less of the confused human world."

His advice extends from practical raw advice to making the world a better place : "Efforts to clean up the pollution and destruction of the natural world will not succeed very well until significant progress has ben made in cleaning up the widespread pollution of human consciousness and human life-force, because that is the root of it all."

I've read a lot of other raw books, but these three are probably the most significant for me.  I will add an honourable mention to Victoria Boutenko and her books.

What are your favourites?
