Just wondering if anyone has had a raw pregnancy (or their partner) and what it was like. You can compare it to a SAD pregnancy, or even tell me your experiences on a high raw pregnancy. I am really keen to find out for when I have my next. My daughter is 20mths and I pretty much did the high protein, largely cooked diet with her. I ended up being one big puffy mess at the end with fluid retention problems.
I am happy to say I discovered the raw way of eating just after she was born, and she is mostly a raw girl:) still breastfed too.
Anyway, I would love for the next pregnancy/labour to be a most positive and energetic experience, so any advice would be much appreciated!

Also check out Shazzie.com  (in the journal section in 2004) for some tips and info on when she was pregnant with her daughter Evie.

Hi there Naomi

Well I haven't had a completely raw pregnancy but it has been very high raw ranging at the beginning from about 85% to 95% now, which I'm very pleased with.

You can read what I've written in my journal if your interested.

It's also my belief that Shazzie wasn't exactly 100% raw throughout her pregnancy and just did the best she could.  Our body changes alot at this time so even if you think and really want to be raw it may not happen that way, you can only do the best you can.

One thing I know is that at age 40 I'm feeling great, I've got just a few short weeks to go now and baby is doing fine, in fact this one is said to be bigger than my others so it's obviously well nourished.

Take care and bye for now
