i am daily introducing more and more natural organic products into my life...skin care..makeup ect ect and tossing out the old junk...we need to consider so carefully what we apply to our bodies not just what we are ingesting...and as you so rightly pointed out..even in our washing powders...

Yes - I was very surprised that the laundry detergent said THIS PRODUCT CONTAINS NO ZEOLITE, as I had already written a post about my concerns over Zeolite processed with NanoTechnology contained within Chi Foot Detox Patches, in another thread here. 

So am still most curious about it.  It is leading me on to question other things too.    ie.  I am really wanting to buy an Infra red sauna but now I am suspicious as to how good for one it is to be heated up from the inside, like food is in a microwave!!!!  Can't find anything so far that says beware of them.  But will see what others think by posting a question soon.

I personally have used the chi foot patches that contain nanotechnology processed zeolite with vey good results. I only questioned it later when miss bliss caught my attention on it. I am realy unsure of it all as there is loads of information out there but what to believe?

This is the e-mail I recieved after I enquired about the chi foot patches containing nanotechnology processed zeolite.

Zeolite is a naturally occurring mineral that has a range of significant benefits and attributes. Please find attached a background reference document on zeolite. It has a reputation for removal of toxins from the body including radioactive substances. At nanotechnology size, the surface area is much larger and it is therefore more effective. It is impregnated in the fabric of the Chi foot patches for maximum effect sitting against the skin.
 
 Zeolites–a mineral created from molten lava–can make a difference in maintaining your health.  Zeolites are natural volcanic minerals that are mined in certain parts of the world.  When volcanoes erupt, molten lava and thick ash pour out.  Because many volcanoes are located on an island or near an ocean, this lava and ash often flow into the sea.  Thanks to a chemical reaction between the ash from the volcano and the salt from the sea, amazing minerals like zeolites are formed in the hardened lava over the course of thousands of years.
All-natural zeolites have been shown to:
o     Remove heavy metals, toxins and other compounds from the body;
o     Balance the body’s pH levels
o     Support a healthy immune system.
 What makes zeolites so amazing is the fact that it’s not only one of the few negatively- charged minerals found in nature, but it also has a very unique structure.  Zeolites have large, vacant spaces (or cages) that allow space for large, positively-charged ions to be attracted to it, then trapped and eliminated from the body.
When were Zeolites discovered?  This class of minerals was first discovered in 1756 by Swedish mineralogist, Axel Fredrick Cronstedt.  He discovered stilbite, one type of zeolite, and then he found that stilbite visibly lost water when heated.  Based on this anomaly, he named the class of materials zeolites– Greek for “boiling stones.”  For nearly 20 years, zeolites were considered an obscure little group of minerals–until we learned that its unique complex, crystalline framework of cavities and channels has many useful purposes–including detoxification.
What do Zeolites do for us?  Thanks to the honeycomb-like structure, a zeolite works at the cellular level to trap allergens, heavy metals and harmful toxins.  In fact, because it is one of the few negatively-charged minerals in nature, a zeolite acts as a magnet, drawing toxins to it, capturing them in its cage, and removing them safely and naturally from your body. This unique ability to remove dangerous toxins is so well documented, it was used by the Russians to absorb radioactive chemicals and other harmful toxins after the Chernobyl disaster.
For centuries, the powdered forms of specific zeolites have been used for traditional remedies throughout Asia to promote overall health and well being.  The story of the “healing rocks” has been passed down from generation to generation.  More recently, the medical community has been looking into the cancer-fighting potential of zeolites and very much liking what they see. Because zeolites are minerals found in nature, they are 100% natural, safe and non-toxic. 
Specific forms of zeolites have also been recognized by the FDA with GRAS (generally regarded as safe) status.  Zeolites have been shown to trap heavy metals–like lead, cadmium, and arsenic–in its “cages” and safely remove them from your system through the body’s waste process.
Cancer-fighting potential - According to the 2003 issue of Anti-cancer Research, micronized zeolite, combined with a standard chemotherapy treatment (Doxorubicin), reduced the metabolic rate of cancer cells, significantly reduced the amount of metastasis to the lungs and increased the anti-cancer effects of the chemotherapy treatment.  Similarly, a PhD researcher working for a small pharmaceutical company in Ohio found that micronized zeolites provide amazing results for treatment of cancer.  After researching and testing zeolite’s ability to treat epithelial cell cancer (the skin tissues that cover and line your body and all of your bodily organs), he was granted an exclusive patent by the US government, entitled Epithelial Cell Cancer: Drug.  His research showed that zeolites, when injected directly into a cancerous tumor, had a 100% kill rate.
 A pH Powerhouse - In addition to providing cancer protection, zeolites can also play a crucial role in supporting your pH-balancing system. Your pH status is so critical because your body depends on remaining slightly alkaline for your very survival.  In its natural healthy state, your body is slightly alkaline, with a pH between 7.35 and 7.45.  All parts of your system–including the mineral balance inside and outside the cells, the alkaline mineral reserves within the bones and three buffer systems in the blood–all work together, along with the lungs and the kidneys, to prevent the body from becoming either overly acidic or overly alkaline.
Unfortunately, everything from the foods you eat to the pollutants you encounter, even stress produces acidic chemicals.  This overabundance of acidity usually tips your ideal alkaline state into an acidic pH range that can create a long list of physical and emotional ailments, including digestive disorders, loss of muscular strength, reduced cardiovascular capacity and impaired immunity.  Once again, zeolites come to the rescue. Nemesis for Viruses - Research has shown that zeolites have an antiviral effect based on the incorporation of viral particles into the pores and channels of the mineral, thereby preventing viral assembly and proliferation.  Thus, the zeolites in question may aid in lowering the risk of cold and flu infections!

I wonder what they mean by nanotech processed? Does it mean small, or made by litte wee robots that create the mineral? Little robbots is what I imagine when I see nanotechnology mentioned, but I'm not sure the world is there yet.

Since it's a naturally occuring mineral I woudl guess it just means it's processed to make the particle size very small.

Anyone know?

I've been taking NCD (liquid zeolite) drops for almost a month now and I've noticed many great benefits all ready. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 9 years ago and earlier this year with Chronic Fatigue. I have multiple chemical sensitivities and food allergies/intolerances. I'm by no means cured and I don't expect to reverse years of ill health in under a month, but I've noticed enough of an improvement and other unexpected health benefits to continue taking them and recommend them to anyone who cares for their health.

Even if we all ate a 100% organic raw food diet and only drank and bathed in pure filtered water and only ever applied 100% organic unprocessed products to our skin, the reality is we live in a world full of toxins. Even if you live in the country you still breathe in toxic chemicals every day!! So I'm keen to keep removing them with the assistance of the liquid zeolite.

I actually went to a lecture by the Biochemist (Rik Deitsch...mentioned earlier in this thread) from the companies scientific advisory board here in Brisbane the other week and everything he said made a lot of sense. No alarm bells went off...only admiration for this naturally occuring mineral and what it can do to support our good health. I'm a very sceptical person and I've studied biochemistry at uni as a part of my health science degree and everything he said made sound scientific/medical sense to me. I'm that impressed from the facts and my own experience so far with the product that I've actually decided to become a distributor. AND I HATE NETWORK MARKETING COMPANIES!! But the reality is that word of mouth advertising works. I mean look at how often we all tell each other about some great new product we tried. Or great cafe we went to. Or band we heard. Even Miessence (a Queensland-based organic body products company) went the way of network marketing...because it works. Business leaders are predicting that it's the way of the business future because in our depersonalised world people are starting to demand more personal face-to-face, one-on-one attention when their making consumer decisions in a form that is convenient to them. I mean look at party plan...it used to be just tupperware...now there's a whole host of party plan businesses and more popping up every day.

My theory is, I'd rather some company pay me for marketing their product to my friends, family, colleagues, etc,  than them pay some actor or professional sportsperson who's never used the product to say "use this product...it's great" and then pay some multinational media conglomerate millions of dollars to run their ads. I figure this is a fairer system
