We didn't do much of a shopping trip this week... the frige is almost empty. I just made a yummy smoothie though from what was left (I don't know what Piers will eat when he gets back from the gym though)!!

Here's the recipe (very orange themed):

3 oranges, juiced
1 teaspoon bee pollen (optional)
2 carrots
1 nectarine
2 bananas
Lots of ice

I blended it all until smooth! Yummy!

That sounds very creative Sheryl. i pity Piers though.

Not that its much better here. I bought 2 trays of wonderful hite skinned peaches at the markets the other day and my sister only let me keep 12 and then she ate three of them herself. She just does not realise that fruir is the only thing I eat and the other people in the coop dont need them as much as I do.

i will have to throw a tantrum again!!

Sounds like you definitely need to speak up. If people really realized how much fruit you would need I'm sure more would be left for YOU!!! You're healing too and need extra care, attention and love! Think of it - the average person probably eats only 1 piece of fruit a day!!

i think the average "cooked foodist" walks past the fruit bowl and just inhales...lucky to even eat 1 piece...It takes time Joss, for others to realise this is your staple food, and Sheryl says you simply have to speak up and not suffer and feel miserable keeping that angst inside of you...that just slows the healing down....

hey hey...Piers at the gym i hear...i am sooo proud of you guys...i'm seeing my body changing practically week to week,i have lost alot more weight...just the false body falling away....i feel the miracles happening at a cellular level, and even though sometimes i need to just rest and just "be" i am so excited, feel so positive about the raw wonders weaving their magic, over me around me,within me...whhooo hooo, what will another month bring,2mths 6mths...50 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and beyond..............

from one very excited little raw foodie to all of you others...wow being raw knocks ya sox off...it really really rocks. afro

Tantrums work best.

I have discussed this to no avail. Another good way is to eat everything very quickly and make her buy me more at the local shops where everything costs 3 times the price of the markets.

ah,joss you make me laugh....i can see you feasting rapidly on all your fruit then sending 'her' down to the shops with a glint in your eye....

oh nothing like a woman scorned of her raw foods eh....
