OK,

The talent hunt is on!

We know that there is fabulous raw happenings all over the world (many of you we've seen on the internet already so no point in being shy!). Now it's time to nominate your favourite raw (or at least semi-raw) venue outside of the countries that have their own forum here. Whether its a raw retreat in Bali, Indonesia or a great cafe in Brussels, Germany we'll send a prize to the best verifiable raw friendly place you can nominate!

:D i would have to say, chanthaburi in thailand. or rayong. both have week long fruit festivals, celebrating the durian season. they have durian eating comps, 3$ hotels on the beach (rayong) 5$ 1 hour massages, super friendly fruit loving thai crew. but the main draw card is the off the scale smorgasboard of fruits on offer . and the crazy cheap prices.  under 1$ aus per kg for all fruits. mangosteen 60c a kilo, rambutan 20c a kilo, durian (5 varieties) 60c-1$ a kilo.

one lunch i had 10 different varieties of mangoes. one dinner i had 5 different types of durian.

i ate durian in waterfalls, riding my bike, walking, sitting on the gutter, in the blazing sun, monsoonal downpours, on the beach and in the ocean under a full moon.

My favourite raw venue is ......drum roll.........my heart!!!

Well my daughter and I had fabulous raw food and stayed in a
most amazing "villa" at Ubud Sari in Ubud, Bali........
We went for 3 days and stayed for 10.
Hope to go back one day.

raw pleasure head quarters...miss bliss's bus...my house...mm the food rocks..and i have a fruit bowl that is a metre across..actually i think it is bigger....

hey beautiful...it is made of glass,with a fluted edge...i shall be restocking it with my fave fruits this weekend...so when it is full and colorful i shall take a pic and post it to share...it is gorgeous...it is big enough to keep little fishies in....but i chose to fill it with fruit instead....quite the masterpiece... kiss

Oh Yes,
I'd like to see the fruit bowl as well.
I have a whole lot of different looking smaller baskets
around the place but one BIG one would look unreal.
Then the bananas could be helping to ripen the avo's
etc.
Like companion planting, you can have companion
keeping/display...........
