When we first go raw most of us have been eating fats for a long time. Your body may simply be getting rid of stuff that has been there for ages! For me I find nuts and avos essential. I do expect them to become less neccessary over the next few months and years though. For me fats are a transition food.

If you are new to raw I wouldn't worry too much about fat consumption at this stage. Many many raw foodies speak about this in their books. Fat free is something that will happen naturally on it's own in it's own time.

Do what feels right for you right now.

Thx Jen and Jen  cheesy

Wow Jen love the new photo.

Jen actually this morning guys I woke up feeling absulutely euphoric like I had just won a million $$ I think it must have been all that cacao or choc I have been having. Can real cacao do this? heheheh

As for bananas I only have them in my smoothies say only 1 frozen 1 per thermos of greens.

Another weird feeling is that I am noy hungry at all. I am just drinking to keep hydrated but eating a little bit ( beacuse I  am  trying  my experimental recepies) beacuse my brain says I should eat something but my tummy is full .

Cheers

I read a testimonial from someone last week where he's been chronically depressed and cacao was the dfirst thing ever that gave him relief and he was on top of the world. Cool eh?

Hi Alegne cheesy

Please do let us know if that bath trick works.  My skin has gone terribly dry and papery lately.  I don't blame raw, or even if it is raw then I'm happy to accept it as detox and/or the skin being less padded out (with fat) than it used to be.  But I'd sure like to know how to get it moist and smooth again.  I've always had good skin but I'm getting to a point where age would be against me if I wasn't raw.  But I am, and I want better.  Hehehe.

My skin has gone very dry the last few weeks, on my hands especially. I just assume its because Im suddenly using a lot more hot water, which is drying!   x

Mine's been like it since I went raw so I'm hoping it will settle down in due course and get moist again.  Sometimes I put coconut oil on, but I'm not very dedicated at that because of the time it takes.  I'm not very good at self pampering.

Hi All

I have had a kinda itch sensation right slap bang infront of my throat . It doesnt happen all the time but when it happens its very itching and I cratch it .

I havent pinned pointed it down to any particular raw food. I do have green smoothies about 1L mon-fri weekends I dont .

Do I have an acidic patch ?  laugh

Lately my mucous has vanished except tiniest bit in the mornings if I have too many nuts .
Also I have been getting weird cravings they only last few few minutes then they go...maybe my body is getting rid of old old stuff   huh  Like sat morning I had this salty fish craving and ther is no way I was etching to eat salted hearing  rolleyes .

I have a long journey but its nice to have RP forum to share with ALL you guys are my raw security blanket in a way esp the more advanced people that have been living the raw way much longer than me.

By the way does anybody know what receiding gums on teeth are due to? I had mine since evern before raw 2 teeth the eye teeth. Or maybe I am electric brushing too hard . afro

Anyways any feedback would be cool.  yahh

Love to all kiss kiss
