Put my back out again, and when i do this i get all nausceous and dont want anything in my stomach so get dehydrated. Anyways this doc i got the other day got all worried and admitted me to hospital.

Chucked me on a drip (ew) and some bloodtests. Doc said i had gastro, but i knew it was just my back.

But anyways, enuf with the boring stuf, i was just re-shocked into how bad hospital food is. Ive spent a bit of time in them, but not for a while now, and i forgot how bad it was Tongue

Cee u know bout it right!

Are you ok now kiddo? Hope you feel better soon.

Its horrid when something goes amiss with your back. I used to have problems with my back. I eventually went to a chiropractor he said it was a problem with my hips. Manipulated the problem bits and no more pain. I just check in with him every couple of months and make sure everything is ok.

Hey Joss, yea im good now, im on some drugs, so hopefully it all heals soon and i can get off em. Still feel nausceous, happily wouldnt eat anything, but the meds im on require to be taken with food. Still pretty sore n tender. Thanks Joss:)

Well i had blood tests and the doc said they didnt look too crash hot, but i think ill try and different doc next time and get some more tests. He said my liver looked a bit upset, like an alocoholics??? I dont drink, go figure...he was waiting for some confession of my closet drinkin, but i didnt have one! Ive been tipsy 3 times in my WHOLE life! So ill try a diff doc i think Tongue

So not sure if its my back, or my liver is unhappy, cos the anti-inflammatories work which makes me think ive inflamed my liver, cos the pain killers dont work...

I dunno Tongue

Anyways, im not gonna be popular at work, tourists want their bread on a long wkd!

Jen might have some suggestions. However I would grab a copy of Sandra Cabot's Liver Cleansing Diet and forget about the doctor. Do you have a naturopath where you live. I think I saw a secondhand copy of Sandras book. I will look for it on Monday and send it to you if I find it..

Joss,

If you can't find Liver Cleansing Diet - let me know.  Heaps of cheap second hand copies here, and I can source quick and easy peasy for CG.

I too had a copy but got rid of it in one of my 'be free of all worldy goods' phases.  Note to self - be free of all worldly goods EXCEPT books!  cheesy

CG - I empathise with the back.  I've done mine in a few times being not very mindful with yoga.  It's only when you have back probs that you realise how important your whole skeleton is in allowing you to walk around etc.  And also how much it plays a part in helping you put on your undies in a dignified manner!

The one thing I do remember from the liver cleansing diet is the daily juice of carrot, celery and parsley (I think).

Take is easy missy!

thinking of you 21cg.   kiss

If you are into crystals etc you could always try putting several pieces of petrified wood along your spine!  I have read that this is powerful for aligning the spine.  I remember how much I used to love finding petrofed wood in streams and washed up on beaches with lots of shells.

Also St Johns Wort herbal tincuture is a specific for the nervous system, resulting in relaxed muscles, and in so relaxing the muscles of the spine, can work like a chiropractic adjustment...it is a good one for assisting the back.  Also St Johns Wort (hypericum is its other name) ointment or oil rubbed into the back is beneficial.

Wishing you well

22Cg I would not be worried about the state of your liver. Its probably tossing out toxins as you go about your detox. The blood test probably picked this up.

Perhaps it might spur you on towards more raw foods in your diet. The liver is a mighty smart organ and can regenerate even from really bad situations.

Chin up sweetie. I hope the back gets better soon...Joss
