Raw Pleasure's Cacao Powder is raw, organic, antioxidant-rich and delicious!
Raw cacao powder is created by cold-pressing only the best raw Criollo cacao beans into a cake separating the oil from the protein and fiber. The temperature is never allowed to exceed 45 degrees C and is usually 40 degrees C (all other cocoa powders are exposed to temperatures as high as 149 degrees C!). A high-accuracy thermometer monitors the entire process. Slowly, the pure, liquid cacao butter begins to separate and is carried off down a stainless steel valve. The remaining dry cacao material is then cold-ground, fine-milled and sifted so that only the finest, most available raw cacao powder filters through into the finished product. This allows for maximum digestion, nutrient absorption and flavour!

So I got my jar. Finally can get that chocolate hit from the raw diet. So, as I do with everything, I just take a spoonful straight outta the jar and into my mouth, strong, bitter, chocolate taste, full bodied. My first play with it was mixing it with agave nectar and eating it straight like that. Talk about a choccie hit! Smooth and dark-chocolate tasting. Ive been spooning the good brown stuff into smoothies and mixing it with agave for a decadent chocolate sauce. Healthy, good-tasting chocolate? Get this.
