I was a little wary of what truly raw olives would taste like, but these are the best olives ever. The taste is full, rich, and divine. They make other olives taste woody by comparison. I will definitely be buying more raw olives, they are now an indispensable part of every salad! Jenny Love (Friday, 21 July 2006) Rating:  The Kalamata olives are great! They have a nice mix of chilli flavour and saltiness. I find I can only eat 2 or 3 of them at a time however because they are quite salty. You could rinse them quickly first to get rid of some of the excess salt flavour. They are a great source of protein and raw fat in my diet. To me, these are a cross between the 'bite' and firmness of a green olive and the smooth richness of a Kalamata. In salads, dips or tapenades - these olives are awesome. But, well.... Snuck one in to test it even though I'm supposed to be strictly juicing while coming off a fast. They taste superbly spicy and are great value for money. I'll be buying more. These really are fruit of the gods and I could never go back to even my high quality organic variety I so loved. I can't wait to sample the other varieties and only hope Raw Pleasure never runs out or I seriously think I would have to go into mourning. These are how olives should be, so juicy and plump with a wealth of goodness to offer. Absolutely scrumptions and invigorating after a hard workout. Never settle for second best is my new motto!
