Michael Netherton (Friday, 21 July 2006) Rating: This machine is fantastic - we simply can't keep up with our 3 children's appitite for dried food; they demand all sorts of dried goodies for their school lunch boxes. Even the youngest likes taking dehydrated capsicum as a snack!!
We happily go out of our way to make the long drive to the markets to buy bulk, cheap fruit and vegetables. The dehydrator is the tool we then use to make sure nothing goes to waste.
We started off with the 5 tray machine and quickly realised that to dehydrate a full box of fruit ($10 for 10Kg of lovely ripe apples, etc) we needed more trays. A 30 tray dehydrator bursting full with great food is a sight to behold - even better for our budget and health.
